산지해장국

Jeju <Sanji Haejangguk>. The offal soup is famous, but haejangguk is still the foundation here. Perhaps it is a Jeju trait: elements that would clearly feel aggressive on the mainland are toned down, while other qualities are raised to fill the space, resulting in comfortable deliciousness. I seriously considered missing the bus that comes once an hour just to eat more slowly.
