チョウジュ

Kameido <Chōju>. A formidable old establishment dating to 1955. There is no obvious signature and the shop is extremely cramped, but its experience shows in bowls that come out above average regardless of what you order. The shoyu chashumen was quite good, though I only later heard that the Chinese-style champon is the thing to get. I will probably return at least once while I am here.
